Down To The Well is the brand new single from The Long Ryders.
Very pleased to be asked to help put together the sleeve design for this, a song for our times.
Greg from the band had a good idea on what he wanted for the overall style so we worked together to create the final cover design and to choose the best images of the band to feature. The photography came from the talented Tom Gold of Goldwood Images. Tom was on tour with The Long Ryders for some of their 2019 dates and captured these images at those shows. Down to the well sounds like a classic Long Ryders tune that opens with a great guitar riff and only gets better from there. The ‘B’ side features an acoustic remix of If You Want To See Me Cry, from their 2019 Psychedelic Country Soul album, by famed producer Ed Stasium.
